A once bustling silver mine now enduring the ravages of time at Hatcher Pass, Palmer, Alaska. Hatcher Pass is a popular destination for varied summer and winter activities, located about an hour from Anchorage.
This window seemed to call out to me. The age of the building, subtle colors, texture, screamed, "Paint me in watercolor!" I'll leave that to someone with appropriate talent...
Along the Parks Highway with the Talkeetna Mountains in the background, a double rainbow accents fall colors near Cantwell, Alaska. I was returning from a unsuccessful moose photo shoot in Denali National Park and saw this a little south of Cantwell. I felt pretty good about getting something on camera... otherwise it would have been an eight plus hour expense of time.
