Fairbanks, Alaska hosts the annual Ice Festival in March. Approximately twenty countries participate in the annual competition involving a few different categories. I was shooting during the tail end of the sunset (9:00pm +), it was -10 degrees F., cold enough for the tripod to chill out, enabling two of the rubber feet on the tripod to drop out, which wasn't noticed until several days later.
